Our hand-crafted steel trunks are shipped direct from our factory straight to your home or office. Unlike other trunkmaker's vinyl or pressboard trunks, our premium line of camp trunks, college trunks, storage trunks, steamer trunks and toy trunks are constructed of a durable steel exterior and come in assorted colors.....
Factory uses cabinet grade hardwood plywood throughout the trunk. Not only does this make for an even sturdier trunk, but a much more attractive one as well. Since the hardwood is cabinet grade (same quality as high-end kitchen cabinets), it is beautiful in appearance and never needs to by covered over with a paper lining.
Many other trunk companies line their trunks with an inexpensive paper lining, similar to the type of paper you might use to wrap a gift. They do this because they use inferior blemished, lower-grade wood, various hardboards (not to be confused with hardwood) or wood composites and therefore need to cover up the unsightly interior. Over time, the paper rips and peels away, which makes the interior look even worse. Also, if the paper ever gets wet, it starts to pucker. We always being ahead of the curve, decided to upgrade our steel trunks by going with cabinet grade hardwood plywood throughout the entire trunk. Steel on the outside, beautiful hardwood on the inside. No paper. No peeling. No tearing. We've got nothing to hide!
