The newest item produced by Kamp-Rite is the ETC (Emergency Treatment Cot). Based upon requests and recomendations of several medical organizations involved with disaster relief, the ETC was designed with a sturdy aluminum frame capable of supporting up to 450 pounds. A heavy duty washable mesh covers the cot frame and has two buckle straps intended to secure patients to the cot.
The ETC enables medical providers to treat patients more effectively. The innovative design allows both the "head" or the "foot" end to be elevated, further enhancing the versatility of use. This convenient, portable unit has been a tremendous asset in the on-site treatment and care of emergency medical and disaster victims.
When purchasing the ETC, you may also order an optional supply kit. It includes the following: a blanket, pillow and a persnal hygiene kit complete with a razor, shaving cream, deodorant, bar of soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, washcloth and hand towel.
This unit is ideal for disaster preparedness and is available by special order. The contents of the hygiene kit can be altered on request.
