Bed safety rails - 4 rails fixed to Westcot - Production only - Not retrofit
Westcot Bed Rails come stored via plastic “C†channel extrusions. These easily Pop on and off the bed. When you open up the bed, just pull the rails off and set to the side. You can leave the “C†channels on the frame. They are always with the bed, don’t get lost or fall out of the bed when it is opened.
Note the stanchions on the head and foot elevators. These are where the U shaped rails
of the stanchions. The Snap buttons will rest
on top of the stanchion. Push the Snap button in on one side and move the rail down just a ¼†or so and then do the same to the other side. Now, push both sides down at the same time. They’ll stop as the Snap button pops out and Locks in the Up Position.
To lower the rails to the Down Position, just push
the Snap button in and move the rail down on one side about ¼â€. Do the same to the other side and then push both sides down at the same time so
that the rail moves out of the way.
To reinstate to the Up Position, grab the rail on
each side and pull Up until the Snap buttons hit the bottom of the stanchion. Push one side in and pull up about ¼†and then do the same to the other side. Now pull up until they lock in place or push again so that you can then take the rail off for storage
